Born February 9th 1952 Abdul Mansoor a sculpture mixed media print artist has a vast resume. A disciple of the great Sir William Hayter, it isn’t suprising that Mansoor returned from Paris to become one of Malaysia’s top print artists. His favourite is abstract landscapes, masterfully playing with texture and colours on both print and canvas.
Graduating from not one but three established universities domestically and internationally (ITM Malaysia, École Nationale Supérieur des Beaux-Arts Paris FR, UiTm Malaysia). In an array of exhibitions from National honors to group and solo exhibitions. Mansoor has obtained many prestigious international accolades such as the French government Cultural Exchange Scholarship and visiting Grant to Lyon as well as Paris and continues to expand his recognition globally.
